On Sunday, May 21, Lublin residents had the opportunity to participate in sports and recreation activities together with their loved ones. All thanks to the 7th Family Cycling Rally, organised by the “Solidarity Family Movement” Foundation, the Central and Eastern Region of NSZZ “Solidarność”, and Polbruk S.A.
Sunny weather, the unique character of the rally and the great involvement of the participants gave rise to a fantastic atmosphere at the event. From the Litewski Square, where the starting point was located, altogether about 300 cyclists started the race – from juniors to seniors, who, depending on their chosen route, had to cycle from 9 km to as much as 30 km! For all participants of the rally, a family picnic was organised at the Municipal Sports Centre in Lublin, combined with a barbecue, stage performances, children’s games and more. The event was a fantastic opportunity to spend a few enjoyable hours with family and friends.

This year’s rally was held as part of the city’s 700th anniversary.
